Starting 2026-08-04, PicTools includes a smart crop assistant that detects the product subject and crops to the aspect ratio required by your target marketplace. The AI identifies the product boundary, applies the marketplace-specific ratio, and preserves a safe margin around the subject so nothing important gets clipped. Supported presets include Amazon (1:1), Shopify (4:5), Etsy (5:4), eBay (1:1), and TikTok Shop (1:1). You can also set a custom ratio.
