Batch Image Preflight Now Flags Marketplace Prep Gaps Earlier

2026-07-20

Direct answer: On 2026-07-20 we tightened the batch preflight path so sellers catch crop, format, compression, EXIF, and naming issues before marketplace upload—not after a rejection email.

Cross-listing the same SKU to Amazon, Shopify, eBay, and TikTok Shop usually fails on stacked small defects: soft edges after resize, a JPEG that still exceeds a soft limit, leftover GPS in EXIF, or filenames that break handoffs. The updated preflight framing treats those as one checklist pass against your master folder instead of five disconnected tools.

Use one master set of uncropped originals. Export marketplace copies with destination pixel rules, convert to the formats each channel accepts, compress with a 100% zoom spot-check, strip metadata buyers do not need, and rename with product, variant, and role. GetPicTools can run that pass in the browser so files never need a permanent upload to our servers for the common case.

This release does not invent new marketplace specs; it makes the existing prep sequence harder to skip. If a batch fails review, start from the preflight list before you re-shoot. Feedback: sapsap@qq.com.
