Until now, publishing supported English and Chinese only. Sellers who work primarily in Japanese had to rely on browser translation or switch locales. The update extends the markdown locale markers from en|zh to en/zh/ja, updates blog and news loaders to require substantial Japanese copy for publishable guides, and backfills Japanese sections across existing articles. Dates stay normalized to YYYY-MM-DD so sorting and feeds stay predictable.
If you publish on Amazon.jp, Rakuten, Yahoo! Shopping, or ship to Japanese buyers from other marketplaces, you can now read the same batch-prep guidance without leaving the Japanese UI. Open Blog or News, switch the language control to 日本語, and the matching locale block renders directly.
