We shipped a small but useful update to the batch WebP compressor. You can now preview the quality tradeoff on a single image before running the whole batch.
Anyone who's done ecommerce image prep knows the drill: you set WebP quality to 80, run 200 product photos, upload them to Shopify, and realize half of them look like they went through a washing machine. Then you redo everything at quality 90 and wonder if you could have gotten away with 85.
The new preview mode lets you pick one image from the batch, scrub through quality levels from 50 to 100, and settle on a number before you commit. It's a small thing, but it saves the redo loop that used to eat half an hour.
