This note corrects an earlier announcement on this page. GetPicTools does not currently provide a public background-removal page or background-removal API. The preview did not reach a release we could support reliably, so references to one-click removal, batch limits, processing speed, model behavior, and an API endpoint have been withdrawn.
We are leaving the correction at the original URL instead of silently deleting the announcement. That gives readers and search engines a clear record of what changed and prevents old bookmarks from leading to a missing page.
The image tools that are available today are listed in the site navigation and on the homepage. They include image compression, format conversion, resizing, watermarking, and EXIF removal. Each linked page describes the actual input, output, and browser workflow it supports.
For background removal, use an image editor you already trust, review the cutout manually around hair, reflective products, and transparent materials, and then use GetPicTools for the supported export steps. We will publish a new, testable announcement if background removal becomes a maintained product feature in the future.
